One of three people accused of vandalizing graves at the Richmond Cemetery pleaded guilty Thursday in Madison Circuit Court. William Damien Gross, 19, of Keri Ann Drive, pleaded guilty as part of an open plea to a charge of first-degree criminal mischief, and violating graves, both Class D felonies. An open plea is when someone pleads guilty without a sentence being recommended by the prosecution.
